Southern Flourish is dedicated to producing a chic, modern magazine full of fresh editorial for those that love and live the new Southern style. Created for and by young Southerners, the magazine highlights the best of the Southern lifestyle, while providing readers with enjoyable content that helps improve and enrich their lives.

Editor-in-Chief Kate moved to Louisville three years ago from Washington, D.C. and quickly fell in love with the southern lifestyle. She enjoys the pace of life, the focus on family and friends, and all of the hidden gems that can be found in the cities and towns of the South. Kate enjoys hanging out with her husband, Rob, and their pug/beagle mix Winston. Kate earned her B.A. in Journalism from the George Washington University. Kate is currently fulfilling a lifelong dream and living abroad! Read all about it at La Vita è Bella.

Food + Travel Editor Olivia grew up in Franklin, Tennessee and moved to Charleston, South Carolina in 2007 to attend school at the College of Charleston. She is a cake stand maker, a food enthusiast, and author of the blog Everyday Musings. She loves traveling, eating, taking photographs, and being surrounded by the people she loves. Her idea of perfect happiness includes caramel-salted brownies and a cozy cottage in the south of France.

Home + Garden Editor Natalie is from Atlanta, Georgia, and attended college at the University of Georgia, graduating with a degree in Communications. In her spare time, Natalie designs hand-painted stationery that features whimsical watercolor subjects that include pink elephants with martinis, peacocks with flair, and lovebirds dressed up as 1920s flappers (pun intended). Natalie lives in the Inman Park neighborhood of Atlanta with her husband, James, and their sweet tabby cat, Bianca. Everyone calls her Natty.

Typically Southern Editor Elise Yetton is a stylist living in Nashville, Tennessee with her husband and a dream of a puppy. Her infatuation with vintage clothing led to the opening of her online boutique, Troubadour Vintage, in the summer of 2009. She is also the owner of the popular blog Pennyweight. Pennyweight is a collection of inspiring, interesting or just plain lovely things by Elise. It’s a go-to source for your daily dose of design, fashion, interiors, music and more.

Blogger Extraordinaire and Creative Assistant Southern born and raised, Elizabeth is from Birmingham, Alabama, and is currently a student at the University of Georgia studying public relations and communications. She posts her current obsessions and loves over at her blog, Adorn. What makes her heart beat fast? Dance, the company of loved ones, an open sunroof, home decor books, and Anthropologie…to name a few.
