Who are you Pulling for??

August 23, 2010 Food and Travel

Football season is here!!
We may be the females of the family, but we can still have interest in good, Southern tradition. We cook and men eat.

Southern tradition calls for a tailgate: Finger foods, fried chicken, and chip and dip.
What are you preparing in your kitchen for next Saturday??

The invitations, which include all things sweet from “save the dates” to honorary celebrations, are sure to make you squeal [...]

Stripes make me quite happy and, lucky for me, they’ve been in abundance this past season. Whether you want to go all out in stripes or just a hint here [...]

It’s That Time of Year-O…

August 18, 2010 Food and Travel

Occasionally I get tired of the same ol’ same ol’ foods and desire something different. Mexican, American, home-cooked, Japanese, Chinese, Indian, Italian, German…. GREEK! Some of the most flavorful dishes are found in Greek cuisine. Where is your Greek restaurant near you?? I just want a great GYRO (pronounced: YEER-o)!

Just belt it.

August 12, 2010 Fashion and Style

More Marc by Marc Jacobs…

Sometimes, I like to think it’s really that simple. Need a more feminine shape? Wrap a belt around the waste.  Need a traditional anchor to your look? Feed that fine leather through belt loops. Missing an element to the outfit? Go ahead, throw a belt on.
And why not keep it really [...]
