Southern Flourish Subscriptions – Frequently Asked Questions

Is my subscription for a print magazine? No. Southern Flourish is a 100% digital magazine. That means our magazine is only available to subscribers in PDF or digital reader format.

What happens once I pay for my subscription? On your confirmation screen, you will be provided with general details to log into the website and gain immediate access to the current issue! You’ll also receive this information via email. About a week later, you will receive unique login credentials. Be sure to hang on to that info and use it exclusively to log in.

How many issues are included in a subscription? It depends at which point in the year you subscribe. Our subscriptions are offered on a calendar year basis — if you subscribe starting with our Summer issue, you will also receive Fall 2011 and Holiday 2011. We understand that this is different from  how traditional print publications offer annual subscriptions, but as a small business it keeps the logistics of subscription delivery much more manageable for us. Updated: If you subscribed on September 15th or later, your subscription will include only the Fall and Holiday 2011 issues. The price reduction to $8 reflects the smaller issue count.

I’m a subscriber and I lost my password…how can I request a new one? On the login form, click “Forgot Password.” It will then ask you to enter your email address. Note: all Southern Flourish logins are associated with the PayPal address that you used when you initially purchased your subscription (unless you have changed it at any point). Your new password will be emailed to you.

Someone bought me a gift subscription. What do I do with the code they sent me? What great friends you have! To redeem your subscription, simply click this link. You need to go through a “checkout” process, even though your subscription is free. This ensures that you get added to our subscriber list.

I bought someone a gift subscription. Now what? You simply need to provide them with the code you received at checkout. You can provide it to them any way you wish! Once they have the code, they visit the regular subscription link and enter their information to receive their subscription “for free.”
